Croc Walk

Submitted by jan.grotegut on

Today was the annual Croc Walk, where Cherry Creek Crocs helped raise funds for the PTA.  Students got pledges for the number of laps they ran or walked.  There were some quick Crocs that did 30 to 40+ laps.  One Croc was pretty unique, taking a break by walking on his hands!  Thanks to the PTA for the cool treat!  Great Job Crocs!

Pitch & Puppets

Mrs. Smallcomb makes music fun by incorporating interesting objects to teach a musical concept.  Today, Crocs got to use hand puppets to learn about pitch.

3 Record Breaking Impossible Shots in a Single Day!

Submitted by jan.grotegut on

Wow!   Cherry Creek Crocs are Amazing! Yesterday was a record breaking day with 3 Students making the Impossible Shot. A Kindergartener in Ms. David’s class and two 2nd Grade students in Mrs. Davis’ class made the impossible possible. Was it luck or skill? Whatever it was, it worked.  Congratulations!

Happy National Administrative Professional Day!

Submitted by jan.grotegut on

Wednesday, April 24th was National Administrative Professional Day!  Cherry Creek is lucky to have Mrs. Taylor and Mrs. Pratt at the heart of our school.  They  keep the school running by keeping track of student records, communicating with students, parents & faculty members, and scheduling important meetings.  Mrs. Taylor and Mrs. Pratt are the brains behind the scenes, knowing what’s going on at the school on a day-to-day basis.
