Just before Thanksgiving break, Cherry Creek hosted its annual Teacher Talent Show.  Some of the teachers and staff shared their hidden talents with Cherry Creek Crocs.  We’ve got some really talented Teachers & Faculty at the Creek!  Thanks for sharing your talents and interests and helping the students become more familiar with you.

Cherry Creek’s Preschool classes had fun making turkey headbands to celebrate the holidays!  Don’t they make such cute little turkeys?  Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Last Friday, another Cherry Creek Croc made the Impossible Possible.  A 2nd Grader in Mrs. Hardman’s class made the Impossible Shot.  That’s 3 students making the Impossible Shot in the month of November!  Is it the power of positive thinking, luck or skill?  Whatever it is, keep it up Crocs!

Mrs. Hill’s class took the Spirit Day trophy yet again, with 100% of the class wearing spirit day colors!  They’ve definitely got spirit…they are in the lead for Redvember’s Pizza Party!  Is any other class going to give them a challenge for the end of year pizza party?

Twice in one week, a Cherry Creek Croc has made the Impossible Shot.  This time, a 5th Grader in Mrs. Nielson’s class, made the Impossible Possible!  Who will make the next Impossible Shot?

We appreciate, honor and recognize all Veterans who served our country!  Many veterans came to talk to students about their experiences serving in the military.  Veterans that are related to some of our Cherry Creek Crocs were invited to an assembly to share their feelings and memories about their service.  Each grade level submitted questions about the Veterans military experiences.  Through their responses, the students learned about military life, what vehicles they drove, reasons why they chose to serve and what sacrifices were made to serve and protect our freedoms.

Three 1st Grade Classes took the Spirit Day Trophies on Friday.  Mrs. Hill’s class, Mrs.  Golding’s Class and Mrs. Jensen’s class all had 95% of their students Rockin Spirit Day Colors!  Way to Show your Spirit 1st Grade! Remember, the class or classes who have the most Spirit Day wins in the month of November earn a Pizza Party!

It’s been a long time since someone made the Impossible Shot!  This week, a Kindergarten student made the Impossible Possible!  Congratulations!
