Students in Mrs. Zambrano’s class are having fun with science!  They were experimenting with conductivity of electricity with different objects.

In an effort to save trees, be quick and efficient, we are making our flyers for our Springville Museum of Art Halloween Party digital.

Just a reminder that there will be no school on Thursday, Friday and Monday!  See you back on Tuesday, October 18th. 

This is a great workshop to help parents understand the IEP Process, communicate more effectively with teachers, and be more prepared to be collaborators at IEP meetings!  The meeting is on October 19th via zoom, so anyone can join, but they will need to RSVP as soon as possible!  

This week, we had a 3 Way Tie!  Mrs. Deardeuff’s 4th Grade Class, Mrs. Frossards’ 4th Grade Class and Mrs. Nielson’s 5th Grade class all had 95% of their students sporting Red.  Congratulations!  It’s great to see so many students showing their school spirit!

This Morning, athletes from BYU came to help us learn how to be Cougar Built!  They taught us to Love, Learn, Work & Connect.  Some students were given 2 T-shirts…one to keep for themselves and one to give to someone else, which goes with our Habit 4, Think Win-Win!  Our special guest was Cosmo!  Cosmo, along with some of the athletes, showed us some acrobatic moves and dunks.  They told us we need to keep our bodies strong to be able to execute some of those moves.  Some of our students and faculty got in on the fun.

If you are new to Cherry Creek or haven’t attended a Victory Assembly, you need to witness two moments that move one to tears.   The two emotional parts of our Victory Assembly are when all the  students sing the school song and when they celebrate the Top Crocs and Leaders of the Month at the Victory Lap.  Check out the videos on our Cherry Creek Elementary Facebook page.  Enjoy!
