Cherry Creek Choir Concert

Cherry Creek School Choir, directed by Mrs. Deardeuff performed their year end concert for family and friends.  This spring they have been learning classic songs originally released by the Beatles.  Students shared their talents in solos, duets, and other small groups as the rest of the choir joined in.  It was a fun evening listening to some great classics.

Track Meet Fun

One of the fun things our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students get to participate in are track meets that Springville City and Nebo School district co-sponsor.  Students participate in track and field events with their peers from all of the Springville area schools.  Our students did a great job..    Congratulations to all the students for participating.

Cherry Creek Reading Carnival, Reward for reading 1.5 Million Minutes

Cherry Creek students had a goal of reading 1,500,000 minutes this school year.  Together they worked hard, reached this goal, and were rewarded with a carnival.  The Reading Carnival included a bounce house, games, dancing, books and prizes.  All of this fun made the hard work worth the effort.  Students earned tickets that were used for all of the fun activities.  Lots of smiles and laughter filled the building as student participated in the activities.  We are looking forward to achieving another reading goal next year and celebrating again with another carn

Cherry Creek Students Present at Nebo School Board Meeting

On Wednesday, May 11th, members of the Student Lighthouse leadership team, along with the school choir presented information to the superintendent, superintendent's staff, school board, and the general public pertaining to school goals and mission statement.    Students shared how they live the school mission statement of "We Lead, We Learn, We Inspire, I Am Important."  Along with the leadership team were members of the school choir, lead by Mrs.
