Today was the first day of Red Ribbon Week.  The PTA passed out mustaches, beards, goatees and eyebrows for those who participated in the lunch activity “Be a Media Detective.”  T.H.I.N.K.  Every day at lunch, the PTA will have an activity to get you to think about your media choices. Today, the focus was examining ads and images with the question, “Is it True?” What will the PTA do tomorrow?

Have you noticed all the Cherry Creek Students being tutored in classes and in the halls on Tuesdays and Thursdays?   Thanks to the Latinos In Action from SJHS, our students are getting some extra help in reading and letter recognition.  From January-April, these wonderful students will be volunteering at Cherry Creek to help our students with Literacy Tutoring.  We are grateful for your service to the community and for your example of leadership to our Cherry Creek Students and Staff!  Some of these students are former Cherry Creek Crocs!
