Two 1st Grade Classes Win the Spirit Day Trophy
WoW! First Grade is Rockin the Red! Mrs. Jensen’s Class and Mrs. Hill’s class both had 89% of their students wearing Red. Congratulations! Way to show your Spirit 1st Graders!
3rd Grade Learns about Pollination
Third Graders are learning about how pollination works with their very own flowers, bees, and pollen. Learning about science is fun and important. If we didn’t have bees to pollinate flowers, we wouldn’t have fruits and vegetables to enjoy!

Just a reminder that SEP's are on Thursday starting at 3:30 p.m. If you don't already have an appointment with your child's teacher, please contact the teacher for an available time. See you tomorrow! Stop by the 1st Grade hall and check out the Leadership Day/Family Night bulletin board. Some of you might see some photos of familiar faces.
STEM Magic Show
Paul, from the Utah Steam Action Center, amazed us with his magic and taught Cherry Creek Crocs about Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. He introduced the Scientific Method: Ask, Guess, Do, Observe & Answer. Many students were able to be his Magician’s Assistant. Everyone had a great time being entertained by his magic skills, learning about STEM and cooperation. Parents, ask your child about the magic trick that Paul gave to everyone. You will be amazed at their ability to guess which number you are thinking of!
Mrs. Hill’s 1st Grade Class Takes The Spirit Day Trophy!
Wow! Mrs. Hill’s 1st Grade Class won the Spirit Day Trophy today! The younger grades are really showing their school spirit by Rockin the Red. Congratulations!
1st Grade Learns About Sun, Shadows and Science
First grade is learning about patterns of the sun in science. We went outside and traced our shadows today and will see how they change next week!
2nd Grade Learns About Science and Engineering
Second Grade tested out properties of materials. Their challenge: being stranded on a desert island and needing to create a hat for shade. It needed to be absorbent, provide shade, and be comfortable. What creative minds!
