Pamela Cervantes, Park Pehrson, Sydney McDaniel, and Ella Unguren in
Mrs. Alderks & Boyers class, won an art contest for the Daily Herald.
Each week for 9 weeks, students illustrated a chapter of a sea turtle
story printed by the Daily Herald. Their pictures were submitted and
a professional graphic artist chose a finalist for each chapter.
These girls won a summer basket and their pictures will be displayed
in the Daily Herald on April 22nd. All of the other submissions will
be posted on a website as well. We are proud to have such talented
students!
