2nd Grade Enjoys a Day at the Farm

The 2nd Grade classes went to North Utah County Equestrian Park for Farm Field Days. The kids learned about and  learned about a rabbit, pigs, a sheep, and a goat. They learned about how food is helpful (dairy, meats, eggs and fruits and veggies). 2nd Graders also learned about the water cycle, germs and how they are spread and learned about bees.  What a fun day at the farm!

Cougar Built

BYU athletes, Cosmo and the Dunk Team came to present their Cougar Built Assembly.  BYU athletes came to teach about 4 core areas:  Built to Learn:  Build a solid mental foundation for success.  Built to Connect:  Build healthy habits with technology, social media & learn the importance of communication. Build to Work:  Build a strong understanding of physical health & wellness.  Built to Love:  Build up the community through positive social interactions.  4 different athletes spoke to our students about each of these core areas.

The Spirit Day Trophy Goes To…

We have a different class taking the Spirit Day Trophy this week!  We are excited to announce that Mrs. Jensen’s 1st Grade Class took the Spirit Day Trophy with 95% of her class wearing Red or Cherry Creek attire.  Congratulations!  Who will have the trophy in their class next week?
