Wow, we are at the end of another month, which means more students were recognized for their accomplishments in learning and citizenship.  Members of our student body conducted the monthly Victory Assembly where winners are recognized and updates on our school-wide goals are announced.  Check this out ...

Congratulations to our 4th and 5th grade Golden Keyboard Winners.  5th Grade,'s Harper Roberson and 4th grade's Bryan Hernandez are the fastest and most accurate keyboarders in their grade levels at Cherry Creek.  Congratulation!  

On Friday, we had 4 classes with all their students wearing Red for Spirit Day!  Mrs. Davis’ 2nd Grade Class, Ms. Toblers’ 3rd Grade Class and Mrs. Truscott’s & Mrs. Frossards’ 4th Grade Classes  had 100% of their students sporting Red.  Congratulations!

Our contacts at Tabitha's Way brought four collection bins to start the week and thought that would be plenty.  By the end of the week, they had delivered a total of sixteen bins and YOU filled them to overflowing.   They have never experienced such generosity from a school.  Each day students helped collect, count, and place items in bins.  Class members worked together daily in hopes that their class would be announced as one of the top three donators for the day.  To see their pride and joy and helping those in need is heart-warming.  There's no prize t

Thank you to our PTA for a great teacher appreciation week.  The school was decked out with cute door decorations and teachers were treated to gifts and yummy food.  We appreciate the time and efforts of Cherry Creek PTA members to help make Cherry Creek a great school.  

Households Must Apply for Free or Reduced-price Lunch by May 6 To Be Eligible for Pandemic EBT 

Cherry Creek is partnering with Tabitha's Way for a food drive to gather needed items for families in our community.  Students can bring food items each day this week to their classroom.  Student helpers will be collecting and counting donations each morning.  We will have some friendly competitions to see which classes and grades can bring in the most.  Thank you for your generosity in helping our friends and neighbors in need.

Miss Allred, Cherry Creek's teacher of the year was recognized Wednesday, April 13 at Nebo School District's Board Meeting.  Miss Allred is an outstanding educator who cares a great deal about student success and is very skilled at understanding and meeting needs of diverse learners.  Miss Allred is a very imaginative educator that fills her students with enthusiasm for learning.  Her laughter and happiness help students feel comfortable and capable of success in all subjects. We appreciate her dedicated to students and all aspects of their development.
