This week, Mrs. Jensen’s class has been dressing up to read Dr. Seuss books.  Yesterday day it was One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish with her students wearing their favorite colors.  Today, they wore crazy socks to read Fox In Socks!  Celebrating Literacy Week has been fun!

At faculty meeting on Tuesday, Mrs. Mitchell was recognized as Cherry Creek’s Classified Employee of the Year.  Mrs. Mitchell has an amazing ability to see a need and jump right in to help.  She shows patience with students and tries to talk with them to focus on positive things.  We are lucky to have her here at Cherry Creek!  Congratulations!

Mrs. Jensen’s 1st Grade Class is having fun reading during Literacy Week.  On Tuesday, they read “The Cat In The Hat” and dressed up as Thing 1 and Thing 2.  Students are learning that reading is fun!

4th grade learned about animal adaptations with real animals from Joe Deardeuff on February 24th.  Mr.

Mrs. Jensen’s 1st Grade Class had a wonderful time wearing Green and reading Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss.  What a fun way to kick off Literacy Week!
