Math March Madness: Sweet 16

Submitted by jan.grotegut on

The month of March is here…and at Cherry Creek, it means it’s the beginning of our Math March Madness Competition.  Last week, the 3rd, 4th & 5th grade students took a timed math test to qualify for our math competition.  Here’s a picture of the 16 fastest and most accurate students in 3rd, 4th and 5th Grade.  They all move on to the next level of competition, where we find the Elite 8 of each grade!  Congratulations!  Our Final Four will compete at an assembly on Thursday, March 30th at 2:30 p.m.  Good Luck!

A Big Croc Thanks To Mrs. Jenkins & Mrs. Goff

Cherry Creek is sad to say Goodbye to Mrs. Jenkins and Mrs. Goff who both have worked at the school for many years.  Mrs. Jenkins served as our Take Home Librarian and will be retiring and enjoying time with a new grand baby. As an Instructional Aide, Mrs. Goff helped many of our students become better readers.  She will be moving to Arizona.  Best Wishes on your new adventures!
