4th Grade Learns About Animal Adaptations

4th grade learned about animal adaptations with real animals from Joe Deardeuff on February 24th.  Mr. Deardeuff brought in dogs, tortoises, frogs and snakes and taught us all about how these types of animals are similar to each other, but also what makes them unique and how they survive in the wild!  He talked about how the dogs' bodies are built to help them be strong, little hunters.  The Ball Python will curl up in a ball to protect itself from danger.  Tortoises have hard shells to protect them from predators and can go months without water in their natural habitat! Thanks Joe for sharing your expertise!
