Students at Cherry Creek were fortunate to have Thomas from the Clark Planetarium visit today and teach all about science. He demonstrated air pressure, static electricity, tornado of fire and colors of stars using pyrotechnics! All the students were able to hold and pass around a very heavy meteorite. The 6th graders had even more time with him using clickers to answer questions about seasons and moon phases. #clarkplanetarium

Students in Mrs. Sumsion's 6th grade class just finished a guided reading book and completed book reports in class. Two students put their efforts together to make a board game and created trivia questions associated with the book with hand drawn game pieces and game board. They had a blast putting all their knowledge of the book together in a really fun way!

Our Chess Club here at Cherry Creek is doing well and learning a ton! In the future, we hope you will come and join these amazing Chess players!
