Friends from the Living Planet Aquarium came to visit the 2nd Graders to teach them about the Rainforest.  The students were shown some animals that live in the Rainforest.  

This past week, Mrs. Jarvis’ 5th Grade Class takes the Spirit Day trophy with 100% of her students Rockin the Red!  Congratulations!

It's our favorite time of year, Book Fair! We're so excited to invite you to our Book Fair happening from Sept. 27th thru Sept. 30th. Last week, we had a WIG assembly to introduce our Wildly Important Goals for the year.  The 1st WIG is to earn 10,000 tickets for the Reading Carnival.  Each Student can do their part by completing at least 3 nights per week of at home reading. The 2nd WIG is for each student to earn at least 2 Croc Claws during the school year.  Each student can earn a Croc Claw by exhibiting behavior of one of the 7 Habits at school.   Any of the faculty can award a Croc Claw to a student.

This years theme for Reflections is Show Your Voice.  Due date for entries is September 26th

Last week, Miss Payson, Madi Hill, came and taught Mrs. Lexi Hill’s 2nd Grade class about inclusion.  She read a story to them and together they brainstormed ideas on how the students can include others in every day activities!  Thank you Miss Payson for visiting Cherry Creek!
