We are going to have a fun dress-up day on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 with ties, tie-dye, and tutus. We hope your children will be able to have fun dressing up on a day that is unique to the 2022 calendar.
Valentines Day was the perfect kickoff for Kindness Week at Cherry Creek. It all started with the traditional Valentine's Box Contest. There were tables full of creative boxes entered into the PTA contest. The judges had a difficult time selecting winners with so many creative and well prepared designs. Classes continued the fun with parties filled with games and yummy treats. Kindness week continues the remainder of the week with daily themes to help build unity at our school and highlight the importance of kindness.
Ms. Allred, Special Education teacher has been chosen as Cherry Creek Elementary's Teacher of the Year. Her colleagues describe her as compassionate, and hardworking. They state, "It takes a talented teacher to work with and support struggling students across many grade levels with diverse learning styles." Ms. Allred has a big heart and takes on many responsibilities and student needs with grace and dignity. We are honored to have her as part of the faculty at Cherry Creek Elementary.
