On Tuesday, April 18th, Nebo District held a Keyboarding Competition for 4th and 5th Graders.  Cherry Creek was represented by eight 5th Grade students  and four 4th Grade students.  Claire Pettersson was the fastest 4th Grader from Cherry Creek and Syro Padilla was the fastest 5th Grader from Cherry Creek!  Congratulations!  

This past week, we had a 4 Way Tie for Spirit Day!  Ms. Loomis’ 3rd Grade Class, Mrs. Frossard’s 4th Grade Class, Mrs.  Deardeuff’s 4th Grade Class and Mrs. Nielson’s 5th Grade Class all had 100% of their students Rockin’ the Red for Spirit Friday!  Way to end the competition!  

Danny Thompson, a 4th Grader in Mrs. Deardeuff’s class, saved up enough Croc Cash to buy the Principal’s Chair for a day!  Danny gets to sit in style and comfort.  I wonder what Mrs. Darrington in sitting on today?  Great Job Danny!

Cherry Creek has some future track stars in the making!  Congratulations to William Weight, Grayson Maxfield, Bennett Perkes, Norah Nelson and Shepherd Hale for placing in the top 4 of these events! 

Mrs. Smallcomb always finds fun ways to practice leadership skills!  This week, the students practiced Habit #6: Synergize! Cherry Creek Crocs worked together to make marshmallow structures. How fun and creative!

This week, we had only one class with 100%.  Ms. Loomis’ 3rd Grade Class had all students Rockin the Red for Spirit Day!  Congratulations!

The Friday before Spring Break, we celebrated our Top Crocs and Leaders of the Month for March.  Congratulations!  They were recognized and honored with a Victory Lap after our Victory Assembly!

Before Spring Break, Ms.  Loomis’ 3rd Grade Class and Mrs. Frossard’s 4th Grade Class both had 100% of their students wearing Red!  Great job in showing your School Spirit and Rockin the Red!
