In honor of literacy week Cherry Creek students created art inspired by the author Eric Carle. They used hand- painted papers which they cut to form bright and cheerful images. Kindergarten - 2nd grade created beautiful flowers inspired by the book “A Tiny Seed” and 3rd - 5th grade created, beautiful, seahorse pictures, inspired by the book “Mr. Seahorse
Mrs. Darrington Recognized as Community Leader of the Year
Nebo School District is proud to announce that several of its outstanding principals have been nominated by their peers for prestigious awards from UAESP, our state association for principals. Mrs. Darrington was recognized as Community Leader of the Year-“A principal who is involved in outside community activities and brings Community activities into the school.” Cherry Creek is fortunate to have such a caring and involved Principal in Mrs. Darrington.

Mrs. Hill’s Class Takes the Spirit Day Trophy Again!
The 1st Grade classes are excited about Spirit Day. The trophies have bounced back and forth between the 1st Grade classrooms. This week, Mrs. Hill’s Class takes the trophy, with ALL of her students sporting Red or Cherry Creek Spirit Day attire. Congratulations!
