Submitted by jan.grotegut on

Mrs. Hill’s 1st Grade Class takes the lead again in showing their School Spirit on Spirit Day Friday.  At Friday’s Victory Assembly, Mrs. Darrington declared November as “Redvember.”  During the month of November, the class that takes the Spirit Day Trophy the most times in November will win a Pizza Party!  Can any other class beat out Mrs. Hill’s 1st Grade Class?  We will see at the end of Redvember!

50’s Day for First Grade

On Friday, 1st Grade took us back to the 50’s to celebrate the 50th Day of School.  Student dressed up in skirts, neck kerchiefs, jeans & white t-shirts, hair slicked back or in a ponytail.  They did activities related to the number 50, had a sweet treat and made the 50th day of school memorable!  50’s day at the Creek was a Bash!

ARTS Music Assembly

Submitted by jan.grotegut on

Last week, we had a special musical assembly presented by Art & Education.  5 musicians introduced their instruments…a flute, an oboe,  a clarinet, and French Horn to our Cherry Creek Crocs.  They played 5 musical pieces…the students recognized songs from the Incredibles and Harry Potter. Thanks to musicians from Arts and Education for sharing their talents, exposing Cherry Creek Crocs to good music and inspiring students to pursue music lessons.  #artsandeducation #sharpenthesaw #leaderinme
