You can sign up for just one spot or for multiple; whatever you are available for is very helpful. Activity descriptions and times are listed on each slot. (Ending times are approximate; we may finish earlier.) We will have a meeting on Tuesday 10/17 at 9:30am (in the PTA room downstairs) to go over materials and instructions. If you can volunteer but can't make it to this meeting, please let me know and we can meet up separately.
Red Ribbon Week is a great opportunity to provide fun activities that boost kids' skills in each of the four drug-prevention categories that research has shown are effective: personal development & resiliency, family bonding, healthy relationships, and community connection. We have games, visitors, and other activities planned for each day, and there is room for additional input if you have any ideas or suggestions. I have materials and instructions available for the activities. I will be present at each event to help out. Please contact me if you have any questions or suggestions.
