Built to Love and Share

BYU athletes, Cosmo and the Dunk Team came to present their Cougar Built Assembly.  BYU athletes came to teach about 4 core areas:  Built to Learn:  Build a solid mental foundation for success.  Built to Connect:  Build healthy habits with technology, social media & learn the importance of communication. Build to Work:  Build a strong understanding of physical health & wellness.  Built to Love:  Build up the community through positive social interactions.  4 different athletes spoke to our students about each of these core areas.  One of the athletes gave 5 students 2 tshirts:  one for them and one to give away to another student they didn’t know, so they could make a new friend.  The dunk team showed that if they worked on all 4 of these core areas, they could be mentally and physically strong to do amazing feats like flips, high jumps and dunks.  All kinds of BYU swag was shared:  t-shirts, bracelets, stickers and frisbees.  What a fun assembly!
