2015 Reading Frenzy

Submitted by lyndsee.brice on

On November 9, Cherry Creek's PTA hosted the annual Reading Frenzy. The four sessions included guest readers sharing their books, refreshments with parents reading to their children in the cafeteria, and a free Book Giveaway to ALL that attended. There were many smiling faces at the end of the evening as they returned home with a book of their choice.
The profits from the Scholastic Book Fair last month made the free book giveaway possible.
Thank you PTA.

Red Ribbon Week

Submitted by lyndsee.brice on

This week has been so much fun for Red Ribbon Week. Each day, students dressed up to represent being Drug Free! We even had athletes from BYU come and talk about how being drug free has helped them. They even had a push-up contest at the assembly! What a great way for the students to see how being drug-free is the way to go.
