Cultures of Utah

Submitted by jan.grotegut on

Yesterday, we celebrated the Cultures of Utah.  Many students represented their cultures dressing as Cowboys, Pioneers, Native Americans, as well as skiers, soccer players and firefighters.  Autumn,  shown in the middle picture, is of American Indian descent through her Great Grandmother.  She wore an Indian dress and leather moccasins that she believes belonged to her Great Grandmother.  It’s been a great week learning about the different cultures of the world and of Utah.

Today we celebrated the Culture of America by wearing Red, White and Blue.  Here’s how some of our Cherry Creek Crocs celebrated the day!
