Our top third-grade-spellers competed in a spelling bee on Thursday.  All of the students did a great job!  The winners were: Elia Moss in 1st place, Unika Ramos-Atrisco in 2nd place, and Elayna Smithey in 3rd place.

4th graders had a chance to see some cool reptiles! Mr. Kelley and Mr. Deardeuff came and brought snakes, lizards and a turtle to help teach us about reptiles and all their features. See facebook for more photos.

Cherry Creek Dance Club had their spring concert on Thursday, May 8. They did two group dances, "Stereo Hearts" (which will be performed again at Dance Festival) and "Let It Go" which had been performed previously at the Croc Walk Party.  Then the students got to showcase their own group dances. Each one had been completely choreographed by the students. There were 5 group dances in all, but only a couple shown here.

We had so much fun on Friday enjoying our yearly Kindergarten Circus.   Every student dressed in a cute costume,  performed a fun act for the class, and cheered each other on.  I am so glad that I get to work with these awesome students!! 

On Wednesday, 4th grade students stepped back into time to discover
what life may have been like for young pioneers. From games to button
sewing and nail pounding students were able to explore a variety of
activities and discover multiple tasks that were time consuming and
very different from what they are used to spending their time doing.
