Submitted by lyndsee.brice on

Our amazing PTA hosted the Scholastic Book Fair October 6-9. They had Grand Events where parents could come and eat with their students at lunch and go to the book fair. t is being held in the north gym. They also had a competition to see which grade level could bring in the most donations. The winning grade level teachers will be entered into a Monster Eating Contest! The amount of money in these jars will "tell the story" The decorations and displays were amazing, we have the greatest PTA!

Here is a reminder of our school district's wellness policy:

Parents, teachers, and schools are encouraged to use non food items for parties, celebrations, and rewards.  Foods made available to students on campus for purposes of class or school parties, celebrations, or rewards should feature healthy choices and emphasize nutrient density, fruits and vegetables, minimal fats and added sugars, and moderate portion sizes.
