Dance Club Spring Concert

Cherry Creek Dance Club had their spring concert on Thursday, May 8. They did two group dances, "Stereo Hearts" (which will be performed again at Dance Festival) and "Let It Go" which had been performed previously at the Croc Walk Party.  Then the students got to showcase their own group dances. Each one had been completely choreographed by the students. There were 5 group dances in all, but only a couple shown here. It has been fun watching their personalities grow through dance this year.

We had so much fun on Friday enjoying our yearly Kindergarten Circus.   Every student dressed in a cute costume,  performed a fun act for the class, and cheered each other on.  I am so glad that I get to work with these awesome students!!

Pioneer Day

On Wednesday, 4th grade students stepped back into time to discover
what life may have been like for young pioneers. From games to button
sewing and nail pounding students were able to explore a variety of
activities and discover multiple tasks that were time consuming and
very different from what they are used to spending their time doing.

A BIG thank you to Steve Palmer, a microbiologist for Morinda. He showed us different types of bacteria growth. We were even able to swab some items in our classroom to see the process of bacteria growth. Can't wait to see what we grow!
