Cherry Creek students and faculty are preparing to host a parade honoring all veterans in our community.  We need your help inviting family members, friends, and neighbors so we can honor them for their service and show how much we respect them.  Please use this link to provide information about a veteran you will be helping us honor.  We will be making car posters for those who register and need their information ahead of time.   Veteran Information Page

Great Lessons From Our Counselor

Submitted by stephanie.galt on Tue, 10/26/2021 - 14:25

There are many wonderful things happening at Cherry Creek, including character education lessons being taught by our school counselor, Mrs. Smith. Today she was teaching, laughing, and interacting with students in Mrs. Jensen's class with a fun lesson. We have a strong community of educators working hard every day at Cherry Creek to help all of our students be successful in every aspect of life.

2nd Grade Learning About Matter

Submitted by stephanie.galt on Fri, 10/15/2021 - 21:11

Second grade has been learning about properties of matter and recycling. This week, Mrs. Hill’s class was able to bring recyclable items to school. They sorted them according to their properties and took them to be recycled.  Way to go second grade, we sure love that you are learning about science and recycling at the same time.

Mrs. Truscott's class has a fun basic engineering task that not only allowed students to complete a friendly class competition, it gave them authentic practice with communication and negotiation skills, as well as using the habit of synergizing.
