On Friday, a 4th Grader in Mrs. Truscott’s class made the impossible possible!  It’s only been a few weeks since school started and 2 Crocs have already made the Impossible Shot.  Congratulations!  Who will be next?

A Big Cherry Creek shout out to some friends from Wavetronix of Springville!  3 Friends from Wavetronix came to Cherry Creek today to stencil playground games for our students in Part 1 of Day of Caring.  On September 12, more friends from Wavetronix and BYU will come and add color to the stencils already painted.  We are thankful for these great volunteers who show us that education and serving in the community are important…they are living Habit #4: Think Win-Win!  #wavetronics

2nd grade was visited by the Living Planet Aquarium so that they could  discover things  about the rainforest habitat. They saw a gecko, a blue-tongued skink, and a king snake. The students also got to smell cinnamon, learn about rubber, and got a little “rained on” as they learned about the importance of the rainforests. 

The first Impossible Shot of the year was made today by a 5th Grader in Mrs. Vandygriff’s class.  It didn’t take very long for this student to take the honors.  Congratulations!
