Halloween Parade:

We are so excited for the Halloween Parade Tuesday afternoon.  It will begin at 3:00 PM.  We will loop through the school and pick up all the classes, then parade outside for you to view the parade.   If you choose to take your child home at the end of the parade, please go to their classroom and sign out with their teacher.

Red Ribbon Week: Hero Day

Submitted by jan.grotegut on

Our Red Ribbon Week celebration for Thursday was Hero Day-You can be a Hero to yourself and those around you.  Crocs had fun dressing up as their favorite Super Heroes.  They also learned that some of the best heroes don’t necessarily wear capes.  Officers from Springville Police Department came to introduce themselves and passed out police badges.  Some even came out to play four square with the 4th and 5th graders.  Thank you Springville Police Officers for taking time out of your busy day to show Crocs that they are important and being Drug Free is important!

Inside Out Day

Yesterday Cherry Creek Crocs celebrated the Kick off of Red Ribbon Week by dressing Inside Out!  They showed they could be drug free and take care of their bodies inside and out.  At lunch, some took a moment to be still and try Yoga.

Mrs. Holden’s Hegerty Heroes

Submitted by jan.grotegut on

Mrs. Holden chooses Heggerty Heroes every day in class--usually 2 students who have participated in phonemic awareness time with good attention and participation. On Wednesday, her whole class was great and every student got to be Heggerty Hero. They got to wear capes for the rest of the day. Here's a cute cape photo of them all looking proud.
