A reenactment of the Greek Olympics was held on Friday, December 20. Students created flags representing the city-state they competed for and wore crowns of leaves. Our student body president, McKenna Patterson, led our processional through the school carrying the torch. Events were javelin throw, discus, foot race, standing long jump and tongue twister. A winner for each event was awarded with a can of olives and a treat. Afterwards all students received refreshments. We greatly thank our parent volunteers as well as parents who helped provide donations to help with our annual event. Until next year Olympians! (Visit Facebook for complete photos.)
