We Lead and Inspire by sharing our talents

Isabelle Walsh, a 6th Grade student at Cherry Creek was asked to create an art piece for Nebo District offices.  Isabelle wanted to incorporate a Lighthouse, since Cherry Creek attained Lighthouse status in the Leader In Me Program.  She also wanted to add something that represented something unique to Cherry Creek, so she included the school mascot, Crocky the Crocodile.  Isabelle used colored pencils because she wanted to be able to shade different elements in the picture.  The portrait took her 13 hours to complete, spread over 3 months.  Wow!
