What a way to end Red Ribbon Week with a Red Tide!

The Members of the Springville Rotary Club helped empower our 3rd grade students by providing each one of them a dictionary!  Now the 3rd Graders can check their spelling, the meaning a word and find synonyms and antonyms.  Thanks for helping us to be better students, better leaders and better community members! 

Mrs. Kubina  received the PTA Excellence in Service Award for all the time she has spent in various voluntter positions in PTA. She is currently serving as the Treasuer of Cherry Creek PTA.  She has volunteered helping in her kids classes, she has been the Reflections chairperson and helped Mrs. Post prepare the Art Show.  We are grateful for all the time she gives empowering the students of Cherry Creek.  Thanks to all Parents and PTA members who give of their time and talents to make Cherry Creek a great place!

We Lead, We Learn, We Inspire...that's the lessons we have learned this week as we found out that our friend, Rocco Scott, had been injured in a car accident over Fall break.  Rocco, we want you to know that YOU ARE IMPORTANT! Get Better Soon!  We Miss you at Cherry Creek! Nash and Lola, YOU ARE IMPORTANT TOO!

For Red Ribbon Week, BYU athletes, Cosmo and the Dunk Team came for talk to our students about committing to live healthy and productive lifestyles.  It was a fun and exciting assembly!

Today was Film a Message:  Dress Like a Movie Star!  Lots of different Stars graced the halls of Cherry Creek Elementary!

Our Chick-fil-A spirit night and fundraiser that was set up for tomorrow October 21st is POSTPONED. There is a greater need right now and we would like to encourage you to use the money you would have spent on dinner and donate it to one of our very own Cherry Creek families. Penny Wars will be going on all week and proceeds will be going to the Scott family. Info is posted on the graphic below.
