What Are Cherry Creek Teachers Grateful For?

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, Cherry Creek teachers and staff shared what they are grateful for this season:

Mrs. Truscott: Colored Sharpies

Mr. Cornwall: Dr. Pepper

Miss Glenn: Weekends and chocolate

Miss Barrett: The huge windows in my room

Mrs. Deardeuff: Music, dark chocolate, Red Robin french fries, and Janelle Barrett (she really did say that!)

Mrs. Monney: Having another female in the house - my daughter moved home!

Mrs. Crowley: Good hair days

Mrs. Chang: Flushing toilets and a furnace

Mr. Andersen: Leftovers for easy lunches

Ms. Baldwin: To live in a free country, and the chance to learn and be anything I want to be!

Mrs. Bergera: My new house and getting to know my cute neighbors.

Mrs. Smartt: Drawings and notes from my kiddos that make me feel so loved!

Mrs. Golding: Books! #readingislife

Mrs. Nielson: Hot water

Mrs. Gast: Caffeine

Mr. Sedgwick: The anticipation of holidays and the first snowfall

Miss Brice: Clean, fresh water and delicious food

Mrs. Strong: My little munchkins at home and at school

Mrs. Blackburn: Calling Canada with no extra costs

Mr. Duncan: To be principal of the most amazing school, and my supportive wife and kids

Ms. David: Spectacular sunrises

Mrs. Braithwaite: Time 

Mrs. Thayne: Hugs from kids that squeeze the living daylights out of you!

Mrs. Palmer: Diet Pepsi

Mr. Johnson: Tom Brady

We are all so grateful to work at Cherry Creek where we get to work with wonderful students and parents. Have a very happy and relaxing Thanksgiving break!
