The first victory assembly of the year was held this Wednesday. As is our tradition at Cherry Creek, it all started with a "victory lap" of the Leaders of the Month and Top Croc Award students--and, of course--Crocky!

During the assembly, we celebrated those students who earned awards and those who received croc cards. The WIG student leaders gave us an update on how we're doing with our attendance goal. So far this year, 85% of students have been on time 9 out of every 10 days. That's so close to our goal of 90% of students being on time every 9/10 days. Parents, help our kids get to school on time so they can start off the day ready to learn. Thanks for your effort and support with this goal!

A few brave teachers introduced the "Cherry Creek's Got Talent" opportunity to try out for a performance slot on Leadership Day. They showed their dancing talent, and got everyone involved and excited to show their talents.

One last special highlight of the assembly was having guests from KSL News Radio and Zion's Bank in Salt Lake City come to award Mrs. Golding with the Teacher Feature this week for all of Utah.
