Students in Mrs. Taylor’s third grade have been busy participating in the Great Brain Club. Each month students have the opportunity to learn more about the world around them. Parents, family and friends help them research and gather information about subjects that are interesting. Next they bring the information to school and teach our class. During October we have been learning about our bodies. Shown in the picture is William Penrod with his uncle, Dr. Penrod. Together they showed the class how a cast is put on your arm when you break a bone. Others who presented Great Brain Reports were Juvenal Estrella, Rhett Holcomb, Georgia Reynolds, Nash Scott, Aimee Taylor, Jarren Pickett, Lily Diaz, John Vargas, and Sophi Hickenbotham. During the month of November and December we will be studying holiday customs around the world.
