All of Mrs. C. Nielson’s students wore red to take the trophy from Mrs. K. Nielson’s class this week!  Way to go 6th graders!  Who will take possession of the Spirit Trophy next week?

Last night at the Nebo School District Keyboarding Competition, our own Kaylee Slack took 1st First place.  Jvin Kom and Makenah Anderson were Runners Up.  It literally pays to do your best, as Kaylee won $100 and Jvin and Makenah were awarded $10.  Congratulations!

The 6th Graders particpated in Hershey Track today.  These students placed in the following events:  

Girls 100:  Gwen Fales 4th Place  

Boys 800:  Luc Whiting  4th Place

Girls 800:  Gwen Fales 1st Place, Annie Low 4th Place

 Boys 200:  Sebastian Corona 3rd Place, Will Hansen 4th Place  

Girls 400:  Gwen Fales 1st Place

Boys Long Jump:  Luc Whiting 2nd Place, Zac Olson 3rd Place

Boys Softball Throw:  Zac Olson 2nd Place

Mrs.  Frossard and Mrs. K. Nielsen’s classes tied for Rockin the Red!  They will share the trophy this week! Who will take the trophy next week?

We recognized our Top Crocs and Leaders of the Month at our Victory Assembly today!  Congrate Crocs!

The 5th Graders at Cherry Creek have had Pen Pals from Goshen Elementary since October of last year.  They were able to finally meet and have fun with their Pen Pals skating together at Classic Skating, spend time chatting at a BBQ and playing scatterball in the gym!  Cherry Creek Crocs Know making friendships and connections help make great Leaders!

Greetings FELLOW Crocs!  My name is Amy Darrington and I was recently appointed as the new principal at Cherry Creek.  This new assignment will officially begin in July.   I am thrilled for the opportunity and am looking forward to getting to know you and your children better.
